This months issue of Design New England features Jonas Everets Design and an amazing project in Beacon Hill- a stunning lime green Marmorino especially created to complement the sunny living room decor. In the article titled, "Style: Venice Meets Beacon Hill", Jonas discusses the project from the design process to the finished product. The article also highlights different plasters, interesting tidbits and thoughts by the owner-decorator of the 1840's townhouse. Recent Project -  Greenwich Show House for Kathy Abbott

Greenwich Showhouse

We recently had the opportunity to work with Kathy Abbott in the Greenwich Show House to benefit the Greenwich Hospital. Abbott designed the room using the warm tonal rug as a jumping off point. Using it as our inspiration, we went to work. After creating many samples we found the perfect complementary color and material- a slightly cool beige Nuovo Marmorino with Mica Flakes. After a coat of primer, we applied two layers of Marmorino and included flakes of Mica in the second layer. We then sanded the surface to reveal the soft shimmers of Mica and finally sealed it with wax. The stone colored walls accented with Mica add a subtle elegance to the warm welcoming room.
