Recent Project- 16th Street Apartment with Enrique Limon for Clodagh
Even the smallest spaces can be extraordinary. We had the opportunity to work with Enrique Limon for Clodagh to transform a cozy alcove studio into a luxuriously unique and mordern home. We created a natural colored marmorino with just enough warmth to magnify the
intimacy of the home while simultaneously creating the feeling of a much larger space. Virtually no surface was left untouched by the linen colored marmorino, including an expanse of built in cabinets. By including the cabinet doors
, the space was given a uniformity and flow which further contributes to making it seem as spacious as possible. The walls are luminous, complementing the modern decor with a clean bright feel. The final product was achieved through the application of a special primer and two layers of plaster. Finally, a waterbased sealer made of wax and soap was chosen for a satin finish once ultimately buffed. The resulting surface of the marmorino is smooth but shows the texture of the hand application and reflects the natural properties of stone. The result is airy and bright.
